Does This Sound
Like You?
Your child’s worries often show up as tummy aches, tantrums, or school refusal. Big feelings can explode into tears, and nothing you do seems to calm the storm. They may struggle to make or keep friends and express negative self-talk like, “I’m a bad kid.”
Maybe your teenager is feeling overwhelmed by stress from grades, sports, social media, or peer pressure, leaving them anxious, irritable, or withdrawn.
You might be feeling weighed down by anxiety, low mood, or a constant sense of being on edge. Though others may think you’ve got it all together, inside you might feel exhausted, self-critical, or stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns—giving too much, too little, or not knowing how to express your needs.
I get it, and I want to help you turn these heavy feelings into space to breathe and grow—so you’re left feeling lighter, stronger, and happier.

What Clients Are Saying About Us

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect in the free 10-minute consultation?
The consult is a quick, no-pressure phone or video chat to help us get a sense of each other. You can ask questions, share a bit about what is bringing you to therapy, and we can decide together if we feel we are a good fit for one another. If so, we can schedule our first appointment at that time.
How will we know if we are a good fit?
The therapeutic relationship is a big part of the healing process. In our first few sessions, you’ll get a feel for my style, and I will see how things are landing for you. If at any point it doesn’t feel right or the connection just isn’t there, I will support you in finding someone who might be a better match. After all, this is all for you! That is what matters most in therapy.
What do you specialize in?
I work with both children (as young as age 7) and adults facing challenges including, but not limited to:
- Anxiety and overthinking
- Depression and a lack of motivation
- Low self-esteem and self-criticism
- Relationship struggles (romantic, family or friendships)
- Emotional Distress and feeling overwhelmed
- Whether you are navigating something new or an ongoing struggle, we can work together to create clarity, calmness and confidence.
What treatment approaches do you use?
I will tailor therapy to each individual, but I often draw from a few evidence-based approaches:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Focuses on emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. DBT is especially helpful for intense emotions and relationship struggles. DBT can be helpful in staying grounded.
- Person-Centered Therapy
- Rooted in empathy, Person-Centered Therapy focuses on building a trusting, supportive relationship where you feel safe, seen, and in control of your healing process.
- Play Therapy
- Play can be a powerful way to express and process emotions for children who may feel more comfortable expressing themselves nonverbally. Play in a child’s natural language! We will use games, toys and creativity.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- I love to include creative expression through art when appropriate. We can use things like drawing, painting, and writing to support emotional insight.
How often will we meet?
Typically, clients start with weekly sessions, which helps build momentum and trust. As things progress, we can adjust the frequency based on your needs and wants. Nothing is ever set in stone!
How do you handle privacy in such a small community?
I take privacy very seriously—especially in our small valley. I understand the importance of privacy and will honor it at all times.
I will never share your information unless I am legally required to, such as in situation where there is a risk of safety or harm to yourself or others.
What are your fees?
- $170/55 minute session
- $120/40 minute session for children (ages 7-12)
- At this time, I do not take insurance.
